Can anyone tell me?
By Rebel tiGer King
Can anyone tell me about today?
Do we face an eternity
of seeking perfection or are we already perfect in search of pity that
we may only see whats convinient for us at the moment?
How is it that
we can harbor a hatred so deep and carry in the other hand a so called
righteousness of holier than thou?
Maybe this keeps the earth spining
on its axis. A chaos of static masses penetrating the cerebral existance
of a greater good. Here i thought it was love all along. You kow the kind
that you feel when you come home and you see that loyal pooch waggin his
tail, knowing that no matter how your day went he still happy as hell to
see you. The Kind you feel when you step inside and see that person your
just destined to be with. The one that shows you love and takes you to
heaven with just one kiss. Or when you look into the eyes of your child
and love every breath they take, wish they could grow to be better than
you ever were. Taking their tiny hand in yours and holding it like your
life depended on it. Or that rebellious teen that no matter how many piercings
or tattoo's or pink hair, yuo know they're great kids and they love you
even when they say they hate you. Is it that love that makes tomorrow worth
waking up to? Is it a cliche? How about simplicity then? The simplicity
of a snap shot of your favorite park at sunset. The sounds of the creek
in your backyard or the birds that keep you up at night. Maybe the smell
of the coffee shop down the road or the sound of your alarm clock reminding
you how waking up this early sucks. How can we therefore live if we constantly
wish to be someone else or somewhere else other than where we are. Dreams,
goals, wishes may tie up with the same thread, so that leaves us with "to
each his own". So be it. I dream, set goals and wish, but i'll be damned
if i'd take things any other way. So if life decides to throw a right hook,
a swift kick in the ass is indeed due. Peace sells? sure it does. But i'm
left wondering, can anyone really tell me about today? I sure ass hell
hope so.

Well, seeing as no one else had commented and has not answered your question, il give it a whirl. well, i can say in sure confidence that we are NOT perfect (in my opinion).if we are, we may be better off killin ourselves.i mean look, we do stupid stuff every day that we wish we could take back, or do over, and say stuff we wish we could put back in our mouth.how can we be perfect if we're always messing our lives up, maybe not on purpose, but by pure accident? no, perfection will come, later.but surely, its not here now.hope i help. . .
