Crawling spiders - Edited

My skin is crawling
I tear out huge chunks of hair
'Get them off me, get them off me'
I feel one, two, three

Hundred

Thousand

I scratch at them,
But nothing,
until at night.
I see them in my sleep.

One million,

Two billion,

Three Trillion;


Little black monsters,
entwining me in; in their own monstrous ways;
I now not only bleed,
I flow rivers of blood.

Then I awake,
I sit up,
and I see.

One, two, three
Belongings on top of me

A scruffy old book,

A very wet towel,

A Dirty, smelly blanket

"Get them off me, Get them off me"

A spider approaches...
