Coming Of Age
Once Upon a Summer's Night-
Orion's
Sign was in the sky-
A new born child's birth was nigh-
My life
had seen first Light.
Eighteen years have passed since then-
I've seen some good and bad-
I've taken, Given, lost, and had-
My life now starts again.
Childhood was slow in leaving-
Though looking back it seems to fast-
It dissappeared, it couln't
last-
Myself I'm not decieving.
Like a Pheonix in the Fire-
Or a Fairy from the trees-
No longer left in sheltered ease-
Through struggle now, I can aspire.
New hallenges ahead await-
A world for the taking-
The greatest feat is never breaking-
I'll master my own fate.
A long and winding road ahead-
No way to know what lies there-
I will not end up going no where-
A True Path I shall lead instead.
I'll make my way and earn
my wage-
I shall survive the trial-
Honored Code shall be my
style-
Because at last, I've come of Age.
