My Dearest Love

By Deaths Apostle

My dearest love, I see your pain,
You want me to fix it, you depend on me to help you,
But, my dearest love, I don't quite know what to do.
I can ease your mind with my word,
I can aid your heart with my kiss,
Sadly, I lack the potential to erase you scars.
My dearest love, don't give up, continue your fight,
I swear on the stars, one day everything will be alright.
I will be there for you, you'll squeeze my hand when you hurt,
But I can do nothing more for you, except offer my touch.
Though it pains me to say, I mustn't remain by your side.
Deep in your heart, you know it to be true.
My dearest love, you had best fix yourself, if only to keep me close to you.

I can see that this was something that not only was hard to decide but something you are still fighting with while you wrote it. I must say you dipped your pen in blood and this is your scarlet letter. Nice write
