What do you remember?
By SnowQueen
How you loved me...
On that summer afternoon when you began to whisper
Words fluttering over the grass vanishing by an oleander
Interrupting your thoughts with a smile
Hoping you’d make my efforts worthwhile
Let me hear you- let your words come alive
A continuation of whispers and your thoughts wouldn’t survive
And in return for my smile you made my heart melt
With a harmonious construction of words that expressed how you felt
Oh and how you described your emotions is impossible to forget
Speaking of our love as a song... the perfect duet
Oh and how you described the way you loved my body
Worshipping my every inch of me with your poetry
As you loved me with your words you touched me with your hands
You needed to know how my body reacts to the touch of a man’s
I was so overwhelmed and tears were dying to escape between sighs
Oh and my heart felt caged by my skin as you looked deep into my eyes
How I reacted to every word you sewed together with perfection will always
be remembered
How we absorbed each other that tranquil evening. How we both felt so unencumbered
I remember every second that passed and oh how I want to relive that summer
afternoon
Your presence on this earth was so significant, but your life was over
so soon
Every day I think of how to answer your question
Facing the truth would relieve my depression
Even amongst all the memories you left for me to recall...
Yes. I remember you most of all.
