4:17 Nightmares (The Whiskey Blues)

By Dejected_Worth

She creeps as smoke through tiny mesh screen

Exhale "sorry" into a puff of 'not worthy'

I'm not alone, so simply... not that simply

were you ever lonely?

Am I enough to forget

Can we just forget.....

Cold nights, a long winter... A broken lullaby....

An absent family....

A portrait of some other lover,

was it ever me you made love to?

Am I enough to forget?

I close my eyes with the setting autumn,

We'd never last anyways,

It wouldn't work.... I'm in love with you....

It's not enough these days

But am I even enough to forget anyways?
