Of You.

By Aleas

So this day starts
As the day often does
Aborting colorless sleep
And thinking back on what once was

I inhale
As if it's my last breath
And try to recall
Every detail:

The rising star is still just a morning boy
He slyly peeks
Through wind-swept trees
And tap dances upon your body

Jealousy consumes me
As the light touches you
In ways I can't.

Well...I could, but I don't want to wake you
Just yet.

At any rate,
I can watch you sleep for hours
And never tire of it
This isn't carnal desire
She was love incarnate

A stretch and a yawn
Rise and shine, my little fawn
You reach your arms around me
And give an inviting smile
And then begins our morning guile

"You think I'm eager to please?"
I think you please me too easy

"MmmÂ….is that why you were staring?"
MmmÂ… but who can really blame me?

"And you aren't the least bit ashamed?"
Well, I can't help but look affectionately
On something the Lord made so perfectly

With each retort, she leans in closer

"But I thought you didn't believe in God?"
No...but I believe in us

I run my fingers through her hair.

"You're such a lush!"
.
Hush
.
A detailed complication
Of a moments hesitation
No more need for conversation
So she speaks to me in gazes

Movement paralyze
As she holds me in her eyes
A hazel veil of which behind
All my hopes and dreams reside

Suddenly, our lips collide

Her mouth feels like flower petals in bloom
Tulips all too inviting
Tenders every touch
With every gentle kiss
A Seamless Abyss

"I fell into the gravity of you."
Intoxicating senses suffocate in ecstasy of you

(I never did let her win.)

"Hold me close..."
.
"...And don't let go."
.
I won't
.
I exhale slowly
Listen to the silence
It felt so good
To blissfully reminisce.

I agree w/After Hours...I was so lost in the romance, the love that I lost it when I read the end...Never let moments like this slip. Never.
