Claro de Luna
By maddin foxxxy
By the clear pure moon
I sit....and wonder
how can you be so beautiful
through my eyes
without me seeing you...
how can you even touch me
without you reaching me?
Coffee spills
from my coffee cup....
you knocked my door
without me hearing it.
Soon the night will trade
vainly all its stars
for an unworthy sun
pretencious in its light...
And your thoughts
keep kissing gently my mind...
the lips i havent tasted
are worthy to recall.
The smell of coffee breaks
your esence in the world,
deceiving the mighty sky
and all the 7 seas,
hiding from my presence,
but finding you still
where God exposes you...
in the time and place
of coffee makin'....
in the time and place
of love makin'....
your night
that also shares
my night.
The star i choose to see
may not be your choice,
but always stares at you
as you close your eyes...
'till the night
slowly walks away
with all its satellites
that brightly communicate
and surrenders
not on a rising day,
but on both of us.

this is so soft and elegantly portrayed...my heart did a funny little flip flop as i read yet i couldnt deny the underlying note of sadness..or maybe im just flawed to always see the tragic..but this was deeply enjoyed, thank you for sharing it ~kristy

I tried to write something similar to this but it didn't come out right.. I'm glad it didn't.. because I found this. And it delves deeper than I could ever convey. :::OLd

I love how you bring the fantasy to a real-life setting and still hold its magic. Loving something you've never had... I know I've been able to relate to that. Nice work beautiful.
