Melted Glass and Mental Rodents (with the everpresent LabRat)

By glasshouse

I can't see past
This rose colored glass
Half empty/half full
Of acid rain and gray matter

But there's never a jist
when speaking of class
Half living/half sober
Full of make believe and wasted banter

....this could turn out tragically

....it could turn out wonderfully
....who knows
....i'm open to either

.......ok... lets see

But could you see in technicolor?
with windows like that acid
looking past that gray matter
Into cityscapes crumbling to forgotten dust
and winds blown through walls

....shit
....i'm trying. i dont know where to go from here
....ideas?

I've got a myriad
where things can blend
Like colors and pain
where thoughts drip

Like vacant rain
and time stand still
sincerely unfortunate
that i can't see past this curtain
hallucinate me out
this labrynth is too deep
and much too cold

Tunnels always lead somewhere
and there's no such thing as the dire ending

just as there is never a happy one
