six sense sex/druggy suicide

By sIo

let me introduce you
to my obsession
with ...s
...........t
............a
..............i
...............r
................s

a granddaddy long legs
step to the tick
of my grandfather
clock

time keeps tipping me off
raining spy glasses
shaking with spider bones
like rainmakers
on the run

from the shady
overhead cloud
taking refuge beneath our
webbed finger
umbrellas

dousing the church
and raping the steeple
ding dong stitching the doors
and drowning the people

like fate used our lifelines
as shoe laces
and puddle hopped
all the way back to hell

a smoke house of steam
hot boxing and shotgunning
our souls like dinner plates
reaping porcelain confetti
like coke

snorting lines off our spines
one by one
like packed cigarettes
drinking target practice
under the table
with a bluffed bulls eye

shooting double takes
with the portrait
on the wall

never knowing that
its hand was on the table
face down
with the pistol
in the hall

fair trade
was a shot to
the head
before and after
fair game was knowing
which shot
to enjoy most.
