Orgasmic Storm

By glasshouse

It's time

In darkened, shallow, shadow valleys

It is time
To meet the one
Who fingered out these caves

To sail on waves
Poured hastily from hollow ducts
Not made for crying tears of sadness
But salty drops of oceanic pride

Now is the time
To climb the mountains
Carved from marble
And eroded into peaks of ecstasy
Gorges from desperate, angry pounding
Sculpting
Chiseled from the stone of human knowledge

Ride the wind
Blown from universes far away
And close enough to touch
Or smell
Or know (at least subconsciously)

I’ll meet you in the heavens
The stars as stepping stones
And we will frolic
Dance
Run along the paths of consciousness
Humanity
Experience

The earth will teach us
How to touch her
How to love her curves and form
And when we find her secret places
We will know the earth’s orgasmic storm

i miss things like this... that weave deeper like an unending basket of sighs and thoughts that just make you stop, stare and breathe...

Much less perverse than I originally thought it might be... but you have a good grasp on imagery. It's sort of reminds me of the reverse of something I'm presently working on and may never finish. None-the-less, very good.

I love the nature aspect of pure emotional mapping in this poem. Perfect.

Absolutely fantastic imagery. Although i must admit that the "ride the wind" in the whole sex/orgasm traslated to earth nature thing, pretty much clicked in my head as farting during sex *lol*

Don't worry, thats just the way my twisted mind picked it up *lol* I couldn't comprehend anything during sex that would be a wind, blown, and possibly smelt *lol* Regardless it is a great poem. Just what imagery WERE you going for there though?

More along the lines of passion. Passion is a wind that blows and moves us all and blah blah blah. And when I mentioned smell, it was more a reference to knowing it with all your senses.
