my name

By edenscancer

I am at a loss for words, like my tongue is tangled, mangled, torn
my mouth is a dead womb where dead words are born
there is so much in my chest, behind my ribs rusted cage
like a mute bird trapped inside, without food, I'm starving

I am filled with silent, cold, inward rage
silence... I have given my heart this name

her kisses come too few to soothe the wounds
and there are many

I can't even tell if this is dissonance or essence
if these ramblings are fumbled rhymes

or if I make sense

I haven't written words on her with my tongue, spelling love
for long enough that my heart tightens enough to build up...

and choke out blood

I am Tyler's bleeding heart.

I am a word that describes this pain.
I am devastated.
