What use is a title when words are as futile as prayers?
By Thorn
Where do you go when everything has collapsed?
How do you stand when your structure falls away?
What can you do when your grave opens beneath your feet?
How do you escape when your enemies have pulled you under
And your demons inside
Break your will to triumph?
Who do you turn to when you're dead to the world?
What do you have when apathy and enmity are all that remain?
What hope is there for peace
When wicked hands
Work wicked deeds
Of wicked men
Who seek your end?
What hope is there for salvation when the nearest harbor is so far away?
And you've nowhere to go
No way to stand
Nothing to do
No escape
No one to turn to
And you lie bound in your grave?
