The Destructive Nature of Sharp and Dull Razors

By Fading_Smile

which gash is my mirror?

I ask myself,

carving self portraits into emptiness

(like hate is a concept I could grasp)

-----------------------------------------------------------

self-loathing is a testament unto fickle adoration
and our pitiless tactics stained with melodramatization,
let your map be the countless timelines you have painted for yourself

will we break free from the chains of these scars?
scars that have gone forever unkissed,
can I make the most out of a knife in my side
while you stutter razorblades and choke on innocence?

-----------------------------------------------------------

It seems today I woke up on the wrong side of the planet
so smother me with anything,
I'm a cut short of a stable statue
and I've fallen off of the stronghold inside of me

-----------------------------------------------------------

Now try to understand words and cuts the creator will never percieve

and

fail

"It seems today I woke up on the wrong side of the planet" My favourite line from this very good effort.
