Butterfly Wing Freedom

By hate_doll

My fortunate gain
Had little to
Do

With fortune or fame

I was wealthy

with the golds
of sunflowers

and indian corn

the drums
of

the ancients

echoed thru
my heartbeat

My only conquests
have been
my senses

and my soul

rather
than searching

books
I trace

the Stars

Life
has never left

me empty

waking every
morning

fills me

to the brim

not once

can I question
purpose

I am
Divine.

Sifting
thru the pebbles

in a creek

at sunset

I am
content.

  • A former member wrote: Ah! I don't think this has recieved nearly as much attention as it deserves. The way you worded this entire piece really roused somthing in my heart that I too can feel some sort of kinship towards. "I am Divine." I agree. This entire thing was divine. ..
