Thanks to you

By vaultgrl

I don't know you, just like you don't know me.
But I do know you enable me to live happily.
Fighting today, to protect our tomorrow.
This is a Thank You from me to you.
This is a Thank You, for all that you do.
Through bravery and courage you fight and stand your ground.
Know that you’re appreciated by everyone around.
We all have something to be thankful for, one thing or another.
Quite often we don’t remember, to thank you today, forever.
I can sleep tight all night
because of you and your fight.
I could wear my hair in colors bright
because of you and your fight.
I could eat whatever I might
because of you and your fight.
I could run and fly a kite
because of you and your fight.
I just wanted to say thank you…for being who you are and doing what you do.

Whether you are for or against the war in Iraq, the soldiers are doing something great for us. They make us safe and free. Please say thanks to a soldier today at LetsSayThanks.com It'll mean the world to them. All the way to the moon and back again. ~Crista~

I'm definitely against the war but it is not the soldiers I condemn, they're doing the best under trying circumstances.Governments are the ones who should be frowned upon.
