keepsakes & trinkets unseen

great beauty i find in small things
kind words a soft voice a needed smile
butterflies on rainy days
and each jewel i take
locking it into the vault of my heart
so when my hands are cold and empty
i can open my trinketbox
dive into my own private treasure
remembering not all grand things
need to be larger than life
and neither do i
