Corner seat reflection

By hate_doll

Sitting in this well-lit corner
A cafe where growls bounce
Around and off the walls
Tick tock goes
The dead clock

"Hahve you seen tha new boHEHmia?"
words fall off slippery tongues
Snakes baiting prey

"Yeh, I don't samuch see the point"
Sip, sip
sip
Drinking tea
Gives the illusion
Like reading tea leaves
Just the sugar
In the brain

Oracles
Do not frequent
Spiderwebs
Far too sticky
To take such
risks

Snicker Snacker
are your
veins being battered?

Is it you
Who
Come to seek
Desperation
poverty
in dilitante
Fashion
A-minor
with no
where
to go
but
down

Double-
edged
and militant
Climbing trees
Just
to get the satisfaction
of peeking
down

Rain outside
is tit tat
Clicking like
claws of a cat

Is it
So very bad
To grow up?
I don't mean
Just playing dress
Up

This cafe can
get to you
No smoke
But still
is stifling
the Mad Hatter
Cursed these walls
Long ago
"I say, they talk to much anyways!"

"Do ya tahk just to git tahked to?"

"Well, No.

Maybe."

I like this a lot, I like how you incorporated sound and maybe even shape (intentional?) into it. The rhythms change in a very perceptible and jazzy way, if you know what I mean. And I love the subject matter too, love how casually you diss these types :)
