my darkest fear

By LovesInjecedVirus

The darkest rose
A suffocating distance between thinking and doing
A feeling of resentment
Not realizing everything from the start
I’ve dreamt of this
I’ve leapt into the air for hope
And fell into the deepest hole of failure
I hadn’t found you
It was like running in a circle in your mind
Not being able to find your calling
When it’s right in the middle of everything
It’s you
I smile like I'm hiding something
When you walk I memorize your movements
The way your feet hit the ground
And prance around like a little girl hiding inside
I dream of the way your hand creeps into mine
Holds me close when I feel an ounce of fear
Keeps me safe in the darkest hour
And tells me ‘I'm right here’
But your look
Everything means nothing without it
A look that says ‘I love you’ without murmuring a single word
This passion I see in your eyes
Keeps me on my toes and makes my words melt into ink
And my heart into mush
Its cheesy I know
but it’s the only thing keeping me from thinking about
My darkest fear…
Losing you
