I can’t tell you how bad I wanna taste it
And oh god I’m craving it
It’s the sweat and the salt
And the unadulterated aching
The power that it gives you
And you can’t help but take it
It’s the world handed on a platter
Instead of slipping through your fingers
And I can’t say no anymore
Because it haunts my very being
Contrasting and brightening colors once dull
Numbing yet tingling sensations ignored
And I wanna scream and I wanna die
And I wanna laugh and I wanna cry
Because the whole world is plotted against my survival
Giving me this need this daily desire
And it’s gonna take every ounce of my will
To crawl into bed and forget what I feel
