It seems we wander aimlessly
Throughout much our lives
Possibilities so endless
Seen through tired eyes
But sometimes paths will cross
And brighten darkened days
Hearts will meet another
And share their separate ways
Friends are hard to hold
Despite where they begin
But true friends are a mystery
That starts from deep within
And you are our true friend
This journey road has brought
The kind of friend we never knew
Our hearts have always sought
For now the road has parted
And left us on our own
But our travels have just started
With nothing etched in stone
Some day the road will twist and turn
To bring us back again
And we will journey down the path
Forever friends within
Love Always,
