Abyss

By A_Puppet_Show

a victorious climax,
but they rest not in victory,
struggle! on the burden;

Her heart is a death mask,
the mark of humility;
his hand that of the artist,
cold and questioning.

    Incredible. The 1st read, my mind grappled with how the words fit the title. The 2nd read, the meaning of the words start breaking through and by the 3rd read it all makes strange but beautiful sense :)
