Oh, Kurt, Did It Hurt?

By Kitty_LostInHerOwnMind

BOOM!
SQUISH!
PEW!
SPLAT!
Brain matter on the wall
Don’t walk towards the light
Stay away from the light
If you’re dead
Would that make everything right?
A brilliant mind lost
A deep soul stolen
Did she kill you?
Or did you kill yourself?
Was it mentally?
That she took your life?
Did she drive you to it?
Or was it the fame?
The fortune?
The fans?
People argue
On if you did it or if it was her
But what does it matter?
Either way you’re gone
A brilliant mind
A soul that was meant to live
I hope that some day
You find your Nirvana
Goodbye Kurt
I didn’t know you
But I respected your music
I still do
Maybe in the end
It was just all that Washington rain
I know what it’s like
To live where it’s always raining
I live there too
If I had known you
I would have been fortunate
Sleep well
Prince of your own fate
Sleep well
I will always remember your name

*sigh* all my idols are dead... That's bad, huh? You should never follow in the footsteps of the people who walked off a cliff, no?
