Can You Feel This?

By CharlottesWeb

The storm turned away
Running from where
We all may lay
While Angels and crows
Called in sick
Flightless
Wearily quiet
The ground rumbled,
Upset and blistered
The day man found
The day they discovered
Even walls grow tired
Of being built
To be beat down

The sun and the moon,
Now step aside
Leaving stragglers,
Lost within this interim
Of fading shades
While the stars
Who knew the cost
Again,
Sigh their tears
For such
Loss

I'm so happy
my poetry has
come back to me

*bows* your way with words has been missed and this poem makes the reason so clear. you speak in such a meaningful way that i can not even think of a worthy complement

  • A former member wrote: *is also glad it came back* :) I should leave a wonderfully constructive comment..or at least a wonderfully creative one..but I'm just going to say gorgeous and leave it at that.

Calmly and pleasantly blunt. You're winner.
