in time ((the flight of ashes)) w/wonderlandhysteria

By whisperer

in way beyond the controlling lies
speaking in peace pieces raining 40 weight blows down upon my conciousness

smell the roses confined within razor edged chains of doubt
i've made my peace in another way charred skin scarred and bleeding in all your yesterdays

resurrect my memory

yes, i have tasted such glory as that rains in your mind
complacently stitching the lids of my eyes over blind
as sorrow? as regret?
i only see you as you were. to me? to nothing, anything, everything more. there's something missing. i long for yesterday, yet never.. come tomorrow.

come again come back return the angels regret to them in gold rimmed trays of bone

standing up drowning and downing bottle after bottle of something on fire and returning the ages back to the holder of the keys speaking truth in the eves of the marble mansion lit with candles

spoken words burn here

written in backlit words on the floor boards and the walls

wail and the city will hear you as the ghost in their closet and the fear behind their eyelids while i exist behind yours

i never knew

but i still believe in you

if i am anyone, let me be someone. but i fear sometimes, there is nothing here except the bridges i watch burn, shriveling back into birth, to be born and suffer this love once more, if not light my midnight skies. come, love, bring a match. ignite this deadened shore, tides sore like picked and bleeding scabs.
and i ask you again.. why are you still here?..we’ve both empty hands.
flickering a black trance fire glares inside mine eyes as mirrored hypnosis.

i daydream of nightmares. do you follow? watch.

i follow and watch from every eye and corner i'm here because i want to be
it gives me reason to rise from my bed of fire and ashes flight
fights to remain aloft are not as hard to finish as they once were

i've seen you entranced i was the song you heard behind the nights sighs

but i am that broken corpse limping in and out of your intoxicated daymares

i've still got a soul or two

my blades are few but sharp enough to pierce flesh as i so often demostrate

watch for me in the fire

. oh darling, won’t you whisper softly
of misery?

tying feelings to the ceiling
like a ribbon slow dancing in the wind
or a broken heart balloon.

i see you. i watch you look at me
eternally.

and i follow your lips, tongue kissing over shallow wounds
throb with a romantic ache
reminds me.. we are but shadows of just a dream
and i misplaced the key
both knocking on the same door
with no one behind it.

comatose dreams echo as cryptic as silver flames
leaked from your brain
retched an iron curtain ‘round the bathtub drain.
i can hear you better underwater.

breathe.. so i might taste on your words
once more.

come, let us trace the outline of the moon
in the silence of the dead
of that which might have been said and bled
through to a rotten heart’s core. share my pulse,
and entrap me as the petals of your flower,
choking like wrinkled tears crawl helplessly
only to cling to my strings like a strangled kite puppet
fixed upon my wall, crying.
haunt me. be my reason to scream, my muse.
forevermore.

i’ll just be your reason to fly. always.
