False Direction

By InsipidTouch

The sound of silence
Consumes your flesh
Stab my eyes until
They bleed the dream
Your children they scream
For their nightmares haunt
Images of drastic death
Or a crash of insecurities
Fals hopes and
Not trustworthy friendships
Spin the bottle one last time
Plant your kiss tenderly
Her breath dies slowly
Crumbling beneath you
Thank you for your good-byes
Sun rays linger
On their pale whit faces
when the light burns out
Shadows roam the streets
Under your covers for protection
Don't be scared
For my hands will hold you.

This one is really excellent, just for my current mood. Cheers.
