Sickened

By The Unforgiven Child

And the sky, it burns like fire,
the world, it comes apart,
you're up there now, just laughing,
because you stole my heart,

The skin, it doesn't seem the same,
it falls from bone like rain,
and rivers of blood flow down my face,
from your sickening refrain.

No more anger, no more tears,
and no more ever present fear,
You were here, now gone away,
and now's the time for child's play.

i love it, especailly the first stanza. especially the first line. and i adore how you began the whole thing w/ the word 'and' like you're in the middle of a story. this is NOT the beginning. ~lauren~
