Deprived Eyes

By InsipidTouch

You are my friend
You are my enemy;
If anything
You re my foe.
Together in my mind
I picture you
As the little
Cloud of smoke
That haunts me.
You never go away
You never go away
You never even speak
It brings me lower
Each night I cry;
I pray you'll go
Or at least talk.
The silent burden-
The silent killer
Breaking me in two
Trying to live
But I can't breathe;
You're standing
On my chest.
I hope I choke,
Cough up blood,
And stain your shoe.
