Lilith
By Redemption
Note: A classic piece and still to this day one of my favorites. A dedicated
piece to one of the most unique and darkest poet I've ever met. She used
to dwell within the halls of Darkpoetry, known by the name Lady_Lilith,
if you look carefully around this site you can still see traces of her...She
remains in my mind to this very day.
Liltih I
Where the light of sun cannot reach
There dwells an elegance forbidden
A woman of demons wills she breathes
Her beauty an enticement for death
To fools she whispers:
"Come all ye whom seek thy lust
For thy desires I shall fulfill
Of thy blood I may drink
In thy blissful moment I'll tear away
Thy body and soul only fool shall bring."
She wanders through a malice forest
Her gothic palace a cathedral of old
Under wilted trees she awaits
For immortal the air she breathes
In silent sighs she whispers:
"My will be lost of ancient times
Now here my belle live forevermore
A succubus enchanted by blood
The Thorne of a black rose I am disguised."
Granted life for eternal woe
Her skin a pale glamour
With eyes like moonlit pearls
And zephyr tears below her eyes
The symbol of sorrow she wears to remind her
In sirens song she meekly utters:
"To men whom wander
I shall wait
In satin gown, and black lace
My lips a poison bliss
To end thy lust
While I tear away thy beating heart"
Her hair a dark mirror of black night skies
Her touch soft before ending bite
A raven condemned to walk
With wings depraved an unjust luck
Against night winds she mutters more:
"Of men who seek quick release
Come into my grasp an embrace of damned
Touch my lips so gentle and still
In these arms I'll rest thy soul
So close thy eyes and pass away
For tomorrows light ye shall never she."
Under pale nights she walks on
Alone with chalice of blood
And black gown soaked in wine of sin
None shall ever bear her somber
A gothic princess
With crown of thorns
She sings so softly words of comfort
Alone in darkness she casts no shadows...
