Pensive Unwell

By Spiritus_Frumenti

In an artless manner,
The skies I know do not always ponder,
Do not always feel sad at all the prayers left unanswered

In an artless manner,
The winds I know do not always mourn,
Do not always feel despair at a body not alive anymore

In an artless manner,
The ground I know do not always cry,
Do not always feel the weight of the pain in our lives

In an artless manner,
The people I know do not always understand,
Do not always feel the misery created by their own hands

In an artless manner,
I know
I know that everything does not always matter
Does not always feel that it is beautiful
To remember
To experience
When it seems so cruel and hurtful
So much in an artless manner...

Each stop is a heartbreak - is an addition of weight - 'And this, too, shall pass away.' A crushing thoughtful piece...You do not always - but you do...hmmm
