deconstruction of life and death

By Jonas

rotten sneakers
what he was doing was a little less than standing
leaning over his cane in a curve proportional
to that of the shade leaning its weight in turn on him

and he bled from his forhead
what came was red

eyes frightened looking shamed into pity
as she couldn't not notice
no way to look away

and she had trouble keeping her tits inside what she decided to wear
to the bus station that day
aware of my stare
unspecifically
but as a matter of course

and her efforts to pull the cloth into a more modest position
just added to her allure

and what are day and night but
standing on opposite sides
of a rock revolving ever to the other
hurtling toward the furthest limit
of its inertia
until it will start on the road
returning to the initial cataclysm

Wonderful piece! I especially liked your closing lines, in contrast and conjunction with the imagery of the woman at the bus station. Great! Ciao, T/S Scholar
