Sleep swollen feet touch cool tile
In the morning light, pale and buttercup yellow
Seen through double vision tired eyes
Walk on stiff sleepy legs towards a porcelain bowl
A mirror reflecting mussy hair
And pillow creases on my cheek
Cool water splashes my face, drips down my chin
Mint foam filling my mouth
As I scrub away the film and remember
By the by, I dreamt about you last night
