Dreaming of the colors
Dancing in the clouds
Never stopping to wonder
Never caring for my soul
Lifted high above your head
Please don't drop me today
The headaches are almost over
Problems are labeled away
Your friends are your excuses
Stitching the eyes of the youth
Protecting them from the corruption
Not letting them learn for themselves
Break the skin and shed the blood
Betraying your closest neighbor
Running in circles looking for help
But going nowhere for you're mute and blind
Breathing in the dust
Blackening your precious lungs
The heart is pumping more dirty blood
Through the veins it goes
As you flex your arms to carry your love
Up the stairs you lift her
