By wandering druid
Why does my tongue twist
when i try to tell you how i feel?
Why can't my eyes meet yours anymore?
Why can i not pour my soul out to you
(for you are the one who will understand)
Living without your voice
destroys my sanity
while waking to see
the empty space where you were in my dreams
leaves me bereft of any joy...
I ask why I cannot be with you
And I see no reason why
Save for when I cut myself from you
Sorrow spills like blood
For me to pen my words
But now
when I see a life
where we no longer speak
I cannot help thinking
that these words...
written from sorrow...
from despair...
might not be worth it
