directionless thoughts in misery's wake

By wandering druid

In a cacophony i exist
Might as well be silence
There's nothing said
In sunlight i walk
But i enjoy the rain more

i live
but i'm not
alive...

my life lies empty
forlorn
Lonely like distant thunder
my heart

torn

asunder...

Within the sweet night
as winds whisper
through trees
Nature seems as lonely
as i
Seeking to speak
with her children
who see her as just
another resource to exploit

So alike
she and i
and thousands upon thousands others
giving until we've nothing left
and left to despair
midst the sea of voices
'til we cut a sanguine swathe
to create a path
for release...
