Searching

By Shadow Fox

Whispers in a sea of sorrow
like unrelenting thoughts of tomorrow

Tortured soul and heavy mind
searching for something you'll never find

Your heart is aching
your spirit is breaking

Still you search, though you're weak
never knowing what you seek

Still you search, all alone
never knowing what is home

You feel lost and afraid
searching always, night and day

Searching still as time goes by
though you're hurt, you will not cry

Searching still, sorrow growing
searching still, never knowing
