I saw a Sunrise
By Alacer_Cogitatus
I saw a sunrise this morning
..And I wept..
I wept for those who never saw one
and those who will never see another.
I wept for those who missed a sunrise
holding their lover close.
..And I wept..
Streaming thorough charcoal and cinder clouds
red rays of ambient love
seen, perhaps, by myself alone.
..And I wept..
Reflections of sunrises past
imprinted on puddles of
sudden springtime showers.
..And I wept..
...Because it was beautiful...

This is quite beautiful indeed... I loved the repetition of 'and I wept...' It really added a lot to the poem's flow and emotion.
