Paper Wishes
Once there was a man
Who owned a paper sun, a paper moon, and a handful of paper stars
And when he was cold, his paper sun cast no warmth
And when he was lonely, his paper moon did not glow
And when he was unfortunate
Well, his paper stars would not fulfill his wishes
No matter how he tried
He could not realize his paper dreams
But he went on living his paper life
And when non-paper friends tried to remove his paper spectacles
He only threw up paper walls
So They banged their heads into the soft pulp
And prayed for rain.
