even when it's unplugged.

when told to let go.

push harder;
when i'm supposed to let up.

kiss you;
when you pull away.

sit in the dark;
when all i need is light.

keep walking;
when my feet start to ache.

after 3 A.M.

live;
when my body shuts down.

read;
old bedtime stories.

pray to god;
now that i've quit believing.

listen for your voice;
