Application For An Internet lover

By shadowsinthelight

I came to apply for the position
Here is my resume`
Oh, you want an audition
Then hear my roundelay

You want a virtual lover
A cyber-space seducer
A whimsical weaver
A daydream producer

I can delight you
I can hurt you
I can twist you
I can heal you
If that’s what you need from me

I can be dark
I can be light
Last a moment
Through the night
I can be what you want me to be

I can be your mega-byte master
Your heart’s digital disaster
Your synthetic slave
Use me and toss me away

A warning, with my diction
You’ll fall in love with fiction
An alternate reality
Your Internet fantasy

I can cleanse you
Pollute you
I can please you
I can tease you
Do anything you want me to do

I will affect you
I will infect you
I will love you
Then reject you
I believe this is what you want me to do

With a foreplay of words
And a climatic verse
A gentle stroke of a key
And you will belong to me

You’ll burn like the sun
You’ll believe, I’m the one
Then you’ll call me scum
As your world comes undone

I will make you live
I will make you die, inside
Obsessions in your mind
You’ll believe every lie

I’ll devastate your darkness
Create away your rain
Escalate your emptiness
Cause you such delicious pain

Raise you from the dead
Fuck with your head
Bring you to your knees
As I finger your delete

In your life you’ll want nothing more
Than to be my prostitute of prose
My virtual little whore
My fictional laptop lover

Well, do I get the job?
