Blossom (w/the superb sinfully_decadent)

By knightmirror

sanding
a dovetailed heart
molded
with ligneous limestone
lactating
a single spoor
oozing oozy
opalescent diamonds
imaging
ginger fumigated skies
swirling
like the frigid petals
of a forget-me-nots
topography
quickly quibbling in
aftertones of
Siberian cymbalsam
healing
wounds
of love

quick wisps
of satiny petals
overlap
in a gentle breeze
of lavender and oleander
as new love
blossoms
out of old pain
and the wind
with its vanilla voice
whispering
of change

pawning
useless emotions
withered
dead from the journey
thus far
inane
from lack of traffic
needed for
this freeway of arteries
reconstructing this
trestle-bridge
of broken
trust

old heartbreaks
withering
on a vine
of regrowth
as the green thumbs
of fairies
nurture
new blossoms
of hope
willing vibrant
new life
to a once desolate
landscape
of broken
dreams

delivering
a mittimus in
velcro visions
ripping
emotions off
walls
of wallpapered
mistrust
mocking us in
pastel
screams
like a blooming
hyacinth
of topaz and sapphire
bulbs

hopeful blooms
turning towards
the healing sun
as roots
venture
deep into
loves rich soil
taking hold
in fearful faith
hoping
that fragile
petals
have found
a gentle
touch
at last

"imaging ginger fumigated skies swirling like the frigid petals of a forget-me-nots topography". . the imagery throughout this is amazing, makes me remember why I fell in love with words in the first place. . the hope, the faith, the whole path
