Misery

By Mischevious Princess

I wish this cloud of misery would drift away....
I can't handle all the despair in such a short time.
You brought all this upon me.
This is the price to pay for loving you?
This is insane!

You claim you still love me and you always will.
Well I love you with all my heart and soul!
I'd do anything for you,
And anything to be with you again.

I never asked you to love me.
You did that yourself...
Why let her boss you around?
Pretty soon you'll be out on your own and you'll be stuck!

Nonetheless my dearest, as much as I try to hate you,
I cannot for my love is true!

But I have given you your chance many a time.
This was your final one.

"We can still be friends," you said
But that's not what I want.
I want you, my angel!

Love Always

This is well written, but I'm honestly saying I don't like love poems much. Only coz it brings back my own bad memories and they suck!
