The Light That Is Her

By caustic ink

Dark clouds ebbed
as the dismal rain ceased
A ray of Sunshine
in a world so dreary
A heart so wonderful
so pure
so kind

An angel among us
giving hope to humanity
Touching the lives
of those around her
with words
with laughter

No words can explain
the elation and joy she causes
with just a simple hello

For these gifts
I have little to offer
My thanks
My friendship
My undying loyalty
Small price to pay
for all you have given

Thank you dear friend
With all of my heart
I thank you
