"Here birdy-birdy"

By Storm

In your dazy haze of paralysed fear
You lie, grasping for air
And every strained breath rips like claws
Inside of your bleeding lungs.

-Plead for revelation,
You'll get none.

another broken bone
and the pain that cuts you like a rusty knife
forces you back:

...euphoric reveries shatter like glass
against your wall of exquisite suffering...

[Come back To Life]

Spread your wings,
Flap, oh so pitiful.
Then fall once more;
defeated.

While the worlds all unfortunate
Take it all out on you.

"Now flap your wings..."

I told you I loved this one...And I do really, the imagery of sucking for air, pain filled lungs is just a horror in and of itself... [Come back to life] Can they, can anyone get up off and fly, perhaps, maybe if we just flap our wings we can fly...
