"Cindy"

By Forever Cold

Silly Cindy
Can you see what your lies do?
He’s walking up the stairs and you adjust your bra,
He’s never been yours.
You have your own man.
But this one, he’s killing you with merely a glance.
Your heart feels like a butterfly
And you couldn’t feel more like a whore.
He’s picking you up and you do resist.
Cindy will this fill the empty place?
As you roll your hips you know he wants you.
And with every breath on your neck you see his face.
That one you’re cheating on.
“It’s too late to go back now.”
The flesh is too much,
Intoxicating, it’s your drug.
He’s been there for years, and now you throw him away.
Silly Cindy,
He’s out of the room.
His sweat is still on you, as the smoke rises in the air.
You’re safe tonight,
He never came home.
You can’t help but laugh.
Your lipstick is smeared, and your hair is no longer strait.
And that boy of yours, he’s never going to know.
Silly Cindy you will never find that missing piece,
No flesh can ever give you enough.
You’re just wasting your time.
The pain will never leave your spine.
As you rock back ward with pleasure,
Beyond all time and measure.
Remember your boy is sitting at home.
Why do you make him be alone?
