Tomorrow's Yesterday
By Alacer_Cogitatus
When tomorrow comes,
will I remember today?
Or will it simply fade,
fade, so far away?
Yesterday, I can't remember.
Does it really matter?
In the great schemes of life,
A single day is like a paint splatter,
On an empty canvas.
Unless, of course, time is cut short.
And then, each day counts.
Will you regret the choices you make?
Or rejoice, in all amounts?
Tomorrow's Yesterday
Waits for Noone.
And yet, it hurts to leave,
Like the lost prodigal son.

The last stanza was ingenuously profound in it's wintering truth of wisdom. This is transcendent and sublime and I am left only to loiter in it's unfaltering expression and boundless wonder. Be assured I am so much more than impressed. ~ Rose.
