The End is coming,
The End is near.
How many people
have something to fear?
Will they go quiet?
Stay straight, go queer?
The moon will rise and set
once more in the bluish sphere.
The sun will burn and falter,
Trying to quietly adhere.
It flickers, goes cold,
The sun cannot persevere.
Earth loses heat, the cities die.
Along the water, next to the pier.
The fish go deeper in search of warmth,
The same is with the whitetail deer.
At long last the end is here,
After many and many long waiting years.
Scientists predicted it,
but many did not hear.
And now the people must leave,
Before they disappear.
The End is coming,
The End is here.

"moon..rise and set once more..bluish sphere" Wow, beautiful imagery. The general feelings are very desolate and alone. ~Wish Upon A Star
