Fierce Amain

By MGood

I struggled in the depths of things,
With a smile on my face.
Held up by my offerings,
Stranded in one place.

Fighting with my sanity.
Holding on to letting go.
Suffering humility.
Reveling in no.

Madness took my breath away.
Filling me with apathy.
A meaningless display.
A terrifying prodigy.

Pure sin.
Due I lack?
Anarchy within.
All hope bound behind my back.

If dementia is my profit,
After all that I have done.
I wish that I had lost it,
Before this had begun.
