Jezabel

By MGood

I give them what they want,
Usually without expense.
Though I do, I needn't flaunt,
The magnetism is intense.
Don't try to get a hold on me,
Because, I'll get away.
For all the power you now see,
Makes things go my way.
You might think you have control,
But, you see, that's my game.
And once I reach my goal,
My reaction is the same.
I'll spin you up, in my web, of Lust's confusion.
You will not know which way to turn,
For my Love is an illusion.
Though deep inside you feel it burn,
I say it doesn't matter.
People talk and people stalk,
They all say, "Look at her."
And as away from me they walk,
I feel their hope protrude.
I've warned them all, don't try too hard,
For the truth is rather rude.
Like the rest, you too I will discard...

Urgh ... Down into the mouth of madness. Cruel cruel you! But I bet many would like to fall that way anyway. It makes for pure worship without anything els. Beauty exist in such one sided worshiping. In reality and poetry.
