See The Sadness I & II

By darkness_descends

See the sadness in his eyes,
Hear the sorrow in his cries.
He wipes away hidden tears,
And tries to run from hidden fears.
Alone he sits and cries,
And realizes to the world he lies.
Always saying "Nothing's wrong",
But his life seems far too long.

See the sadness in his eyes,
Hear the sorrow in his cries.
At him you point and laugh,
His will to live you cut in half.
You care not what you do,
Or who you do it to.
You are atoo blind to seem
The pain you cause so carelessly.

See the sadness in his eyes,
Hear the sorrow in his cries.
With Satan he's made a pact,
To get revenge for being stabbed in the back.
Now he'll have the final laugh,
When his one swift move cuts your life in half.
Having had his vengeful day,
The sadness and sorrow go away.....

SEE THE SADNESS II

A pact with Satan having been made,
He lives a life now meaningless and empty.
He didn't realize the cost he paid.
Now only feeling fury and rage,
He lives his life inside Satan's cage.

He wanders like a mindless drone,
Living a life no longer his own.
Now he wanders wearing only a blank stare.
Being moved around like a pawn in chess,
Too blind to see he's become what he fought against.

He fought against unjust pain,
But his mind has been cleared,
Those memories no longer remain.
Now causing pain he's a man that's feared.

His heart now cold and dead,
He performs Satan's dance.
His mere presence causes dread,
He conjures death with a single glance.
He played a game and bet with his soul,
The game ended with him far behind.
He lives his life in a black hole,
Causing death and pain to all mankind.
He sees not what he's done,
No longer his own person he doesn't realize what he's begun.
